Whether we are using them for a "filler" effect to thicken your sides or a full-glamour length transformation, the method we choose is tailored entirely to you.

The biggest myth about extensions is that they inevitably cause damage. We’re here to tell you: properly installed extensions do not ruin your hair. Damage happens when extensions are too heavy for the natural strand or when maintenance is neglected. Our "health-first" philosophy means we will never install a set that your natural hair can’t support. We prioritize the integrity of your scalp and follicles so that when we eventually take the extensions out, your natural hair is just as healthy (if not healthier) than when we started.
3. The Color Match is an Art Form
Have you ever seen extensions that look like "two different heads of hair"? That usually happens because the color wasn't properly blended. At Shear Persuasion, we are custom-color experts. We hand-blend multiple shades to mimic the natural highs and lows of your hair. Often, we’ll custom-color your extensions or your natural hair (or both!) to ensure the transition is 100% invisible.
4. Commitment to the "Move-Up"
Luxury hair is an investment, both in the salon and at home. As your natural hair grows, the extensions move down with it. To keep them discreet and safe, you’ll need to visit us every 4 - 6 weeks for a "move-up." During these appointments, we remove the extensions, refresh your natural hair, and reinstall them closer to the root.
